Barrett Zheng: I wouldn't call my poetry anything great, but I have written some. And I know what I'm talking about. Romantic poetry is no different than regular poetry. All that changes is content.-Be descriptive, use words that paint the picture. (Describe your lover, or your love)-Make sure it flows properly, or doesn't flow at all. That's more for prose though. (I sugge! st flow)-Be knowledgeable about the subject. (Can't write a romantic poem if you've no romantic experience)-Have an intended audience. (Your lover, most likely)...Show more
