Jestine Osumi: It's going to sound boring, but how about the Vegetarian Club? Going to restaurants, potlucks (if your parents will let you), volunteering all sound great. A wonderful way to get the word out is to leaflet on street corners that get heavy pedestrian traffic. Hand out recipe books, guides to vegetarian and veg-friendly restaurants in the area, and/or pamphlets showing the connection between meat eating and environmental degradation.
