Gertrude Darke: Using public transportation to get there isn't easy. There is no train service to Kutztown and only indirect bus service. Look at the website for Bieber Bus (headquartered in Kutztown). Check the Phila. schedule. It is possible for you to SEPTA rail from Glenside to the Greyhond terminal on Filbert St. and then take the Bieber Bus to Kutztown.
