Alecia Kaehler: Music player comes along with the Link's software. AT&T surely welcomes you to BUY THEIR songs, ringtones and/or wallpaper images, of course. And given the very impressive range of video / audio format media the Link's music / media player can use, you MIGHT be able to download your PURCHASED songs ( because we NEVER use Limewire.....right???....a-hemmm RIGHT??? ) to your Link. Now ( clearing throat for real ) here's the kicker: Given you don't have Bluetooth on your PC, how does one USB connect the Pantech Link to their PC?? The charger port sure seems a tad odd for any type of common USB port I've seen--and I have the current range of USB port sizes out there. I've scanned the Pantech Link manual as well as their online manual--and there's NO reference on where or how to USB connect the phone to your PC. And Pantech currently does NOT offer a common USB phone to PC connector. HOWEVER, it DOES offer a "USB" car charger for the Link that CAN ( accordin! g to AT&T.com ) be used to CHARGE iPods.So....if anyone has a iPod to PC connector....they MIGHT be able to connect their Pantech Link to a PC. Given Pantech's reluctance or "oversight" of this issue, it sure seems--w/out actually saying--that IF Pantech Link users want to download music to their phones, they're being "guided" to BUY them from AT&T: Your World, Price Gouged. And unless someone out there devises and sells an "official" Pantech Link capable USB to PC connector, we're currently left to be "guided" to AT&T---something I'd rather NOT allow them to....Show more
